Short Run is an event showcasing regional small press publications and individual makers of art books, zines, comics, literary works, and animation. It is an alternative to large-scale commercial conventions and will focus on alternative press, limited editions, and handmade books.
ORGANIZERS: Eroyn Franklin has been involved in Seattle’s art community for 13 years and has been making comics since 2007. She is a big fan of enthusiastic people, sea lions, vegetables, and landscapes.
Kelly Froh is the creator of over 35 zines and mini-comics, numerous illustrations and comic strips, and her newest book, “The Greatest”, will premiere at Short Run.
Jenny Gialenes once wrote a song about bowling. She likes making zines and long walks on the beach.
Martine Workman is an artist and designer who moved to Seattle 6 years ago. She made her first zine in 1998.
