Using more venues than ever before, the capital becomes a cinematic sprawl. And we want your psychogeographic odyssey to encompass the spirit-raising zebra crossings of animation, the cerebral cyclepaths of experimentalism and drama that leads directly to the back alleys of the soul.
2008 saw an unprecedented number of submissions, and we’ve selected what we reckon is an accurate reflection of the best in UK talent today, with an eclectic and diverse array of shorts that made us excited about ideas.
Here you’ll find new creative visions to light your way through dark days and out of the Christmas blockbuster hinterland. If your sole new year’s resolution is to join a gym, then you’re in the wrong place. But if you fancy starting your year with a bit of soul-warming inspiration then it’s right this way.
