The World Book Fair is an annual event for book lovers. There are over 300,000 book titles on sale on every conceivable subject. Organised by leading publishers Marshall Cavendish Business Information and the Singapore Press Holdings, the WBF also offers a wealth of self-help books and CDs, enrichment programmes and electronic books not generally available in retail stores.

Held during the longest school vacation in June, the nine-day event also provides students with everything they need to develop their mind and excel in school. And there are games, story telling sessions, presentations and inter-schools competitions to keep them engaged and entertained.

The WBF, Singapore’s only combined English-Chinese book fair, also serves as a platform where regional publishers and distributors can meet and establish partnerships. Members of the Asean Books Publishers Association (ABPA) have a combined pavilion to showcase both their existing and new titles.

The WBF has become the place to be during the long school hols. Over half a million visitors attend the book fair each year, making it one of hottest consumer fairs in Singapore.
