Bucharest International Film Festival which will take place between the 15th and the 21st of April 2013 is the first and only feature film competition organized in Bucharest, since 2005. Conceived as a festival focused on art house cinema, which encourages fresh cinematic currents and perspectives, which discovers new talents and promotes young filmmakers already known both domestically and internationally, Bucharest International Film Festival continues the tradition and organizes a feature competition. The best film will receive the Festival Trophy, which is awarded annually, alongside the Excellence awards.
