Hello beloved friends and music lovers!
It's Franklin Delano checking in again, after a long hiatus. We haven't died, we haven't given up making music. After months in the studio, 2 new members and good old fashioned musical evolution, we've decided Franklin Delano did not reflect our new sound so FD is no more. The band had reached a point of no return. Therefore we finally disbanded and archived the project for good.
Blake/e/e/e is born.
The core duo of FD, Paolo Iocca and Marcella Riccardi, has partially relocated to the United States and started a new project, together with two midwestern multi-instrumentalists. Long time friends Davy DeLaFuente (Chicago IL) and Oren Wagner ( Indianapolis IN), have joined the Blake/e/e/e line up. Blake/e/e/e new album "BORDER RADIO" was recorded at Vacuum Studio (Bologna) by Bruno Germano (Settlefish), and will be released in the States April 8th 2008, on FreeFolk Records. The band will be touring the States soon after (dates below, more dates TBA). A European release has been scheduled in Fall 2008. Stay tuned!

"WHERE'S MY HALO?"
Blake/e/e/e is also part of the innovative audio book "Where's My Halo?", in very good company. Cast includes artists such as Polmo Polpo (Canada, Constellation), Sin Ropas (U.S., Shrug), Absinthe (Provisoire) (France, Distile) and Garland Of Hours (U.S., Noble Task). This is an interesting collaboration that will change the ideas of "spoken words" - giving same importance to the musical soundscape and considering the speaking voice an instrument itself, among the rest. Out on FreeFolk Records/Black Arrow Press in May.

Il debutto dei Blake/e/e/e - nuovo progetto Italo/Americano che vede coinvolti due Franklin Delano - si intitola "BORDER RADIO" e uscirą negli Stati Uniti l'8 Aprile (per FreeFolk Records). Il disco sarą distribuito in America, Giappone e Australia, sia nei negozi che sulla piattaforma digitale. Il formato č un bellissimo CD DIGIPAK a 6 facciate e 4 colori, con artwork e layout grafico creato esclusivamente da Luca Dipierro e Rachel Bradley di Black Arrow Studio & Press. L'uscita in Europa č prevista fra qualche mese, in autunno - a breve l'annuncio ufficiale.
