Toronto Comic Arts Festival 2011
The Toronto Comic Arts Festival celebrates comics every other year, through a weekend of book signings, author readings and presentations, book sales, panel discussions, and gallery shows. It is staffed by a group of volunteers interested in promoting the literary and artistic merits of comic books and graphic novels.

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival exists to promote the breadth and diversity of comics, and what is considered comics, as legitimate medium of literary and artistic worth.

The 2011 Toronto Comic Arts Festival takes place May 7th and 8th 2011. It is two full days of comics-related events, including readings, presentations, panel discussions, gallery shows, and a large exhibition area featuring publishers and comic authors and artists.

TCAF 2011 will feature over 250 exhibitors including featured guests Chester Brown (Canada, debuting his new graphic novel Paying For It from Drawn & Quarterly), David Boswell (Canada, Red Fleming: World’s Toughest Milkman), Darwyn Cooke (Canada, Parker: The Outfit), Usamaru Furuya (Japan, Lychee Light Club), Lorenzo Mattotti (Italy, The Raven), Mawil (Germany, We Can Still Be Friends), Natsume Ono (Japan, Not Simple), John Porcellino (USA, The Next Day), Jillian Tamaki (Canada, Skim), Adrian Tomine (USA, Scenes from an Impending Marriage), and Chris Ware (USA, Acme Novelty Library).
