Izlagački koncept U hali 1 Beogradskog sajma, pored zemlje počasnog gosta, nalaziće se domaći i strani izdavači - isključivo sa sopstvenim izdanjima. Domaći i strani izdavači, distributeri i knjižare nalaziće se u parteru hale 4, dok će na galeriji ove hale biti antikvarne i korišćene knjige. Državne institucije i ustanove svoju izdavačku produkciju i projekte predstaviće u hali 1a. Nacionalne prezentacije i strani izdavači, izdavači koji za osnovnu delatnost imaju obrazovanje, izdavači školske i stručne literature nalaziće se u hali 2a. Na površini od 31 050 bruto kvadratnih metara, predstaviće se preko 800 izdavača iz zemlje i inostranstva.
Moto: Pamet u glavu Ovogodišnji slogan je dobronameran predlog čitaocu da se izmesti sa poprišta svakodnevnih medijskih ataka na njegova čula, svest i ukus, i da uzme – knjigu u ruke.
Zemlja počasni gost: Švedska. Ova zemlja će se predstaviti projektom "Glasovi Švedske". Nosilac projekta je Ambasada Švedske u kooperaciji sa Švedskim savetom za kulturu i Švedskim institutom. Pored predstavljanja savremene izdavačke produkcije, na ovogodišnjem Sajmu knjiga u Beogradu, Švedska će predstaviti stotine naslova iz oblasti beletristike, dokumentarne i dečije književnosti, od kojih su mnogi prevedeni i na srpski jezik. Pored mnogih poznatih švedskih pisaca, sadržajan i zanimljiv program zemlje počasnog gosta ovogodišnjeg Sajma knjiga obogatiće prisustvo belgijske književnice za decu i ilustratorke Kiti Krauter, ovogodišnje dobitnice najveće svetske nagrade za književnost za decu "Astrid Lindgren".
Izdavači iz inostranstva Pored Švedske kao zemlje počasnog gosta, na ovogodišnjem Sajmu knjiga učestvuju izdavači iz Grčke, Japana, Rusije, Nemačke, Italije, Austrije, Španije, Portugalije, Izraela, Brazila, Irana, Angole, Hrvatske, BIH, Republike Srpske, Crne Gore, a prvi put se pojavljuju izdavači iz Slovačke i Holandije.
EUNIC Zajednički nastup na 55. međunarodnom beogradskom sajmu knjiga imaju kulturni centri i instituti iz zemalja Evropske unije u Beogradu - Helenski fond za kulturu, Austrijski kulturni forum, Francuski kulturni centar, Gete institut, Institut Servantes i Italijanski institut za kulturu. Oni će četvrti put za redom sačiniti poučan i zabavan program kako bi publiku još bolje upoznali sa zemljama i kulturama koje predstavljaju. EUNIC čine Instituti za kulturu država Evropske Unije koji među sobom stvaraju mreže ostvarujući uspešne saradnje. Njegov cilj je da poboljša i širi kulturnu raznolikost i razumevanje među evropskim društvima i da učvrsti međunarodni dijalog i kulturnu saradnju sa zemljama van Evrope.
Forum Sajma knjiga Ove godine biće organizovano četiri tematske konferencije o pitanjima profesionalnog izdavaštva u Srbiji, razvojnih strategija u nastajanju i predstavljanju knjige, kao i aktuelnih kulturnih fenomena. Uz učešće pisaca, urednika, izdavača, univerzitetskih profesora, novinara, vruće teme i moguće polemike, svakog sajamskog dana u podne!

Pesnički maraton Ovogodišnje iznenađenje sajma knjiga su dva sajamska maratona, pesnički maraton u čast Laze Kostića i maraton kratke priče koji se organizuje u saradnji sa Festivalom kratke priče "Kikinda Šort".
Strip radionice Na Sajmu knjiga i ove godine biće otvorena strip radionica u kojoj će se strip ponovo sresti sa knjigom, filmom i drugim medijima.

The 55th International Belgrade Book Fair is a presentation of domestic and foreign book production. In addition to the publishers, the Fair is attended also by booksellers and wholesalers, librarians and many authors at their book promotions.

Exhibiting Conception In Belgrade Fair Hall 1, in addition to the Guest of Honor Country, there will be also local and international publishers – with their own editions only. The local and international publishers, distributors and bookshops will be located at the Hall 4 Ground Level, whereas the antiquary and used books will be on this Hall Gallery. The Governmental institutions will feature their publishing production and projects in the Hall 1A. National presentations and international publishers, those having education as their basic activity, the publishers of school and trade literature will be in the Hall 2A. More than 800 local and international publishers will feature at the space of 31,050 gross square meters.
Guest of Honor Country: Sweden. This country will introduce itself by the project Voices from Sweden. The project holder is the Embassy of Sweden, under cooperation with the Swedish Arts Council and the Swedish Institute. In addition to featuring the modern publishing production, at this year's Book Fair in Belgrade Sweden will introduce hundreds of titles within the belletristic literature, documentary and children's literature, many of which were translated into Serbian language, as well. In addition to many famous Swedish writers, the comprehensive and interesting program of the Guest of Honor Country at this year's Book Fair will be enriched by presence of the famous Belgian writer for children and illustrator, Kitty Crowther, the winner of this year's Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the biggest award for children's literature in the world.
International Publishers In addition to Sweden as the Guest of Honor Country, the participants in this year's Book Fair are publishers from Greece, Japan, Russia, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Brazil, Iran, Angola, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Srpska, Montenegro, and, for the first time, those from Slovakia and the Netherlands.
EUNIC Cultural Centers and Institutes of from the European Union countries in Belgrade have got their mutual participation in the 55th International Belgrade Book Fair: Hellenic Foundation for Culture, Austrian Culture Forum, French Culture Center, Goethe Institut, Instituto Cervantes and the Italian Cultural Institute. For the fourth successive time, they will create an educational and entertaining program, in order to inform the audience even better of the countries and cultures they represent. EUNIC consists of the National Institutes for Culture of the European Union countries, creating networks between them, accomplishing successful cooperation. Its purpose is to improve and promote cultural diversity and understanding between European societies and to strengthen international dialogue and cultural cooperation with the countries outside the European Union.
Book Fair Forum Four thematic conferences will be organized this year on the matters of professional publishing in Serbia, development strategies in the book creation and presentation, as well as the current cultural phenomena. Under participation of writers, editors, publishers, University Professors and journalists, hot topics and possible disputes every Fair day at noon!

Open Book On the last day of the Book Fair, H.E. the Ambassador of Sweden, the Guest of Honor Country at the 55th International Belgrade Book Fair, will festively hand over the Open Book to the representative of the Portuguese language countries, Portugal, Brazil and Angola, who will be the Guests of Honor at the 56th International Belgrade Book Fair 2011.
