To exist is just the invasive presumption to be able to anticipate it. It's not important which form or intensity it will have, but to feed on the instant before its revealing itself. What will follow won't have the same power no more, the same restless to be on the point of doing.

Be calm opens a rip between the many coordinates, the endless combinations of the possible Happening. The illusion to proceed aimlessly, free from compulsions or forced paths, floating between escaping states, is its ruling regime. It's already too late when the certainty to be inside a one-way labyrinth arises.

Alek O. walks, in a hurry yet on her tiptoes, the path of the latent. The enjoyment of the happening disguises itself as an optional web. The provocation soaked with each dialogical form, with its hypothesis or with its development attracts Alek O. so much that it orients her photography, drawing and video. A light and deceptive light-heartedness drifted on each work. Once the easier and more immediate effect, the work guards a potential act, annunciation of a claustrophobic itch begging for a possible release.

E' ormai tardi quando sopraggiunge la certezza di essere dentro un labirinto dal senso unico nonché obbligato.

Alek O. percorre, di corsa eppur in punta di piedi, il sentiero del latente. La fruizione dell’accadimento si traveste da rete opzionale. La provocazione intrisa ad ogni forma dialogica, alla sua ipotesi o al suo svolgimento attrae Alek O. tanto da indirizzare il mezzo fotografico, del disegno o del video. Su ogni lavoro si aggira una leggera ed ingannevole spensieratezza. Una volta estinto l'aspetto più facile e immediato, l'opera si presenta custode di un atto in potenza, annunciazione di smania claustrofobica già implorante di una possibile liberazione.
