I igru i umetnost, i radost i lepotu. Sve. |

17th International Children’s Theatre Festival “Subotica 2010” |
International Children’s Theatre Festival was established in Subotica in 1994 – the same year Subotica Children’s Theatre was celebrating 60 years of it’s existence. The idea of a festival was born in the mind of a man who was director of Children’s Theatre at the time. His name is Slobodan Marković. Those were difficult times for our country and for all those who lived in it which is the reason why there was a few of those who believed that the idea was going to come true. But, those were also the times when we needed something good and beautiful for our children, something that would give hope and be the real pledge of future. The time when we needed friends, especially those from other countries, who were becoming more and more distant. Because, for us it gradually became more difficult to visit them and the reasons for joy became fewer. However, the old wisdom says that if it seems like there are no opportunities, you should create them yourself. Thus, if we could not go into the world, we still could bring the world to us. And play and art, and joy and beauty. Everything. Thanks precisely to some wise, persistent and hardworking people who did not lose faith the others started to believe as well. |
