ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 represents a window in the landscape of contemporary creativity, offering visibility to all artists and all artistic disciplines: theater, dance, music, performance, DJ/VJ, video, visual arts and installations.
ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 is the meeting point for those who want to showcase their artistic work within the context of three of the most recognized artistic events in Umbria: FESTIVAL of 2 World – Spoleto UMBRIA JAZZ – Perugia NARNI BLACK FESTIVAL - Narni
ROSSOBASTARDO will be the circulating stage, dedicated to give visibility to new creative talents, to promote and to introduce new ideas, to encourage the encounter and the cultural and artistic exchange. A glad and lively place, a creative space in order to play and listen to music, theatre and art.
Within ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 there is also a call for ideas, aimed at establishing a productive exchange between arts and business, and the world of wine-producing enterprise in particular. Artists are invited to submit ideas and proposals pertaining the design of an ideal communication campaign of the special wine Rossobastardo (labels, bottles, gadgets, slogan, advertising campaigns, etc.). Proposals will be accepted until August 30th, 2009. A jury will select the most interesting ideas. And the winning artists will be rewarded in a special event ceremony during the next harvest, the 4th of October, 2009.
HOW TO PARTECIPATE
ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 is open to all artists, theater and dance groups, bands, associations, video makers, visual artists, musicians, DJs and VJs, performers, dancers, that want to showcase their artistic creations, in concomitance with Spoleto Festival of 2 World, Umbria Jazz and Narni Black Festival.
To participate in the fringe space ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09, is necessary to send an artistic proposal with a description of the work one whishes to present. The received proposals will be subject to selection and accepted on based of the availability of spaces and times. According to the availability of the artist and of the organization, the works can be presented in more than one location of the three available (Spoleto, Perugia and Narni). The participation in ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 is free, the groups/artists participating will have to be self-sufficient. The organization will provide the communication of the program and of the events through means different medias. In addition, all the chosen artists will have special visibility in the site www.rossobastardolive.net
Every location will be prepared technically with a minimum of sound system and lights. A list of technical instrumentations will be available for the invited groups/artists. Further technical requests of integration will not be accepted by the organization. If inevitable for the presentation of the work, the additional technical requirements will be responsibility of the artist. One technician will be available for the artists. For food and lodging, the participants will have the possibility make use of special conventions at reduced prices.
The artists chosen will be contacted directly from the organization regarding formal procedure, logistic and calendar.

ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 rappresenta una finestra sul mondo della creatività contemporanea, offrendo visibilità a tutti gli artisti e a tutte le discipline artistiche dello spettacolo e delle arti visive contemporanee (teatro, danza, musica, performance, DJ/VJ, video, arti visive e installazioni).
ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 sarà il punto d’incontro per coloro che desiderano presentare il proprio lavoro artistico nel contesto di tre tra le più importanti manifestazioni artistiche in Umbria: FESTIVAL dei 2 Mondi – Spoleto UMBRIA JAZZ – Perugia NARNI BLACK FESTIVAL - Narni
ROSSOBASTARDO sarà il palcoscenico itinerante dedicato a dar visibilità a talenti creativi, a promuovere e far conoscere nuove idee, a favorire l’incontro e lo scambio culturale ed artistico. Un luogo allegro e vivace, un ambiente creativo per fare ed ascoltare musica, teatro e arte.
All’interno del ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 è aperta una sezione a tema, una sorta concorso d’idee, che si propone di mettere in contatto creativi dell’immagine e della comunicazione con il mondo dell’imprenditoria vitivinicola. Pertanto viene richiesto agli artisti interessati di inviare idee e proposte per quello che riguarda il design di una ipotetica campagna di comunicazione (etichette, bottiglie, gadgets, slogan, spot e campagne pubblicitarie) del vino Rossobastardo. Le proposte per questa sezione verranno accettate fino alla fine della manifestazione, al 30 agosto 2009. Le proposte più interessanti verranno premiate durante la vendemmia che si terrà il 4 ottobre 2009.
COME PARTECIPARE
ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 si rivolge a tutti gli artisti, compagnie teatrali, gruppi musicali, associazioni, video maker, artisti, musicisti, DJ e VJ, performers, danzatori, studenti, creativi, nazionali ed internazionali, che vogliono presentare una loro creazione artistica (teatro, danza, musica, performance, DJ/VJ video, arti visive e installazioni), che possa essere realizzata in uno spazio non convenzionale.
Per partecipare alla vetrina fringe ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09, è necessario inviare un progetto artistico nel quale viene descritta l’opera che si vuole presentare. Le proposte saranno soggette a selezione e accolte in base alle disponibilità di spazi e tempi. Potranno essere presentate a secondo delle disponibilità dell’artista e dell’organizzazione in una, due o tutte e tre le vetrine umbre (Spoleto, Perugia e Narni).
La partecipazione a ROSSOBASTARDO LIVE ‘09 è gratuita, i gruppi/artisti partecipanti dovranno essere autosufficienti.
L’organizzazione provvederà alla comunicazione del programma e degli eventi tramite diversi canali media. Tutti gli artisti selezionati avranno inoltre visibilità sul sito www.rossobastardolive.net
Ogni spazio sarà allestito tecnicamente con un minimo di impianto audio e luci. Ai gruppi/artisti invitati, verrà inviato il dettaglio tecnico delle attrezzature a disposizione. Non verranno accettate ulteriori richieste di integrazione tecnica, che, se si rendessero necessarie, rimarrebbero a carico dell’artista/gruppo. L’organizzazione metterà a disposizione dei partecipanti un tecnico e i partecipanti avranno la possibilità di usufruire di convenzioni per vitto e alloggio a prezzi ridotti.
Gli artisti selezionati saranno contattati direttamente dall’organizzazione per concordare modalità e calendario.
