Agimat Comics is an independent comic publisher devoted to producing comics, graphic novels, and other content that caters to art, pop culture and mixed culture. Officially started publishing online on July 31, 2009. Agimat Comics soon will be available as an iPhone App that you can download on iTunes and it's totally FREE.

Adonna Rosario and aRVie Villanueva are the founders of Agimat Comics. They've been collaborators in the web development since 2007 and now started the publishing venture. Both Philippine born and migrated to the U.S. The passion for creativity attracted them together.

Our medium is 3D and 2D. Sketches on paper, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro and models the characters on Lightwave and Maya.

Agimat Comics was coined from a far eastern language (Tagalog) "Agimat" which means a powerful source of energy like a talisman. We use this power to bring our characters to life. That's how Agimat Comics came out. Here you will find our collection of characters and stories inspired by many people and things that happened, observed and encountered in our lives.

SHADOW CANDY - is the first comic title published by Agimat Comics. It's all about ninjas who are cute, funny, mysterious but dangerous. The 3 lead characters are Hiro, Kaz and Sayaka. The villain is Dr. Box and under his power are the NinBots and OrcBot. Dr. Box likes to wipe out the ninjas and take over the world.
