AreaOdeon [AO] since 2005 develops and produces innovative and collective urban art projects for the re-qualification and re-vitalization of public spaces, degraded spots and undefined corners of the cities, through the involvement and the active participation of the citizenship.
AO promotes and starts transversal collaborations between education, historical handicraft and cultural sides, involving the human resources available and the didactic, productive, economic and administrative realities of the cities.
AO highlights the artisan traditions of the areas in which it works proposing and stimulating a contemporary vision of the territorial and historical culture.
AO organize shared multidisciplinary work platforms, taking concrete advantage of computer science technologies as for communication, interaction, documentation and publication [ internet - audio - video - photography - prints ].
AO generates parallel public events, spectacular and elaborated, conjugating laboratories, performance, exhibitions and presentations for a broad public.
AO stimulates and approaches the city to the citizens and the citizens to the contemporary art.
